You're LOVED No Matter What by Holley Gerth

This book totally grabbed my attention from the title. You wanna know why....? Because for over 10 years of my life I have struggled with low self-esteem and self-worth. This book helped open my eyes to knowing that I do not need to be PERFECT. That I am human and that I am one who has so much love to give. God has amazing plans for all of us. He just wants us to turn our lives over to Him and let Him be in charge. I can tell you right now that if I did not do that, I would not be here today typing these blog posts and hopefully making a difference in the world for God. This book is highly recommended for every woman to read and take seriously. It WILL change your life when you put these things into perspective. So many of us buy into and believe in the lies told to us but did you know.....GOD loves you more than you will ever know? Let that sink in and pick up this book today. Until next time, The Traveling Gypsy

Brittany Jean-Whispered Stories

Image
Brittany Jean has such a beautiful voice. It kinds sounds like it floats on water. I love her lyrics and songs. She writes with historical lyrics. Brittany Jean sings soft songs and I know my sister says that she could easily fall asleep to this cd which is a HUGE plus because she has such insomnia. My favorite songs are number 8 and 10. I enjoy and love this CD. Great job to Brittany Jean. I say you have a real talent with singing. May your voice go out and touch the world.

Anna's CROSSING

From the publisher: When Anna König first meets Bairn, the Scottish ship carpenter of the Charming Nancy, their encounter is anything but pleasant. Anna is on the ship only to ensure the safe arrival of her loved ones to the New World. Hardened by years of living at sea, Bairn resents toting these naïve farmers--dubbed "Peculiars" by deckhands--across the ocean. As delays, storms, illness, and diminishing provisions afflict crew and passengers alike, Bairn finds himself drawn to Anna's serene nature. For her part, Anna can't seem to stay below deck and far away from the aloof ship's carpenter, despite warnings. When an act of sacrifice leaves Anna in a perilous situation, Bairn discovers he may not have left his faith as firmly in the past as he thought. But has the revelation come too late? I love the way that Suzanne Woods Fisher writes her books. You can tell that she has so much passion and soul for bringing her characters to life. About three years ago, I

The Crimson Cord: Rehab's Story

Jill Eileen Smith is an amazing author who has a true visionary gift of telling the bible stories while bringing them to life. I never knew too much about Rehab in the bible other than she was a prositute who is also part of Jesus's lineage. It really goes to show that we can still be used in our circumstances. God is the one who has a bigger plan for us than what we can see for ourselves at any one given moment. Forgiveness is something that we all need to learn to give grace to others and as well as learn how to accept forgiveness. This book will open your eyes to the life of Rehab, her family and what she did for Israel. How she is a big role in history and how she changed. I love how Ms. Smith really teaches us the history in a real life event and brought the storyline to light about Joshua and the Israelites. God has amazing plans for all of us and he uses situations to help us grow as well as teach us some life lessons. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that He has plans for

The Beauty of Grace

The Beauty of Grace is full of amazing photography taken by Dawn Camp....The editor and photographer. This book is chalk full of encouragement, faith and advice. Each story is written by a different writer about God's love that came in a time of need. I highly recommend reading this book. I give it 5 stars and think it would be helpful to those who deal with depression, anxiety and pain. Those who need help with seeing God's love and encouragement through life's difficulties. God has a bigger plan for you than you see. One verse that helps me remember that God is for me is Zephaniah 3:17-20. Another verse that should come to mind is Jeremiah 29:11 which takes about God's plans for all of us. Check out this book and enjoy the beauty of God's grace. Till next time, Traveling Gypsy
