The Crimson Cord: Rehab's Story

Jill Eileen Smith is an amazing author who has a true visionary gift of telling the bible stories while bringing them to life.

I never knew too much about Rehab in the bible other than she was a prositute who is also part of Jesus's lineage. It really goes to show that we can still be used in our circumstances. God is the one who has a bigger plan for us than what we can see for ourselves at any one given moment.

Forgiveness is something that we all need to learn to give grace to others and as well as learn how to accept forgiveness. This book will open your eyes to the life of Rehab, her family and what she did for Israel. How she is a big role in history and how she changed.

I love how Ms. Smith really teaches us the history in a real life event and brought the storyline to light about Joshua and the Israelites. God has amazing plans for all of us and he uses situations to help us grow as well as teach us some life lessons.

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that He has plans for us, plans not to harm us but to give us hope and a future.
