A Chance At Forever by Melissa Jagears
I recieved this book for free in exchange for my honest review as I am on Melissa Jagears' influencer team. This however, does not impact my rating.

My thoughts on Melissa Jagears:
Melissa writes from the heart. The evidence is pen to paper. You can tell she takes time to do her research and really connects with her characters. I love how she pours faith, love and adventure into every book she writes. It might be easy to say that her books are too simple in ideas but trust me, no.....that couldn't be further from the truth. Just give yourself some time to read her stories with an open mind, ears and heart. They will move you to tears, laughter, sometimes feeling like you too wish you were the one standing up for such issues.
My thoughts on A Chance At Forever:
I was so excited to get this book in the mail because of its beautiful cover. I admit it, I am a cover snob. It has to capture my attention in some way. Alot of people would say that is because I have the soul of an artist. No talent in it unless you consider making jewelry an art. As far as painting or drawing....I am like Corey Matthew's daughter Riley on Girl Meets World. I am lucky if it turns out to be a purple cat.
Anyways, I have always loved the name Mercy. I was pretty excited when I found out the heroine's name was going to be that. The topic of BULLYING is such a hard one to address and it can be painful to find out the reasons behind it. I commend Melissa for taking this on. I am only on chapter four and there is so much I can talk about it.
Bullying has been growing ever since time started really. I mean if you think about it, it kind of started way back in the Bible with Cain and Abel. It starts with a pit of jealousy or hatred for the other person. Usually behind a bully, there is a real story of pain, loss and anger. I wouldn't say I was bullied but I definitely had my days of being made fun of....some was for my hearing impairement and why wasn't I like other kids. Other times it was my virture and being such a God follower to the point that I was made fun of among my peers in high school but I took it as a joking thing. They never did anything to me just called me Jesus Freak and the Virgin Mary because I wouldn't go out and party. These were some classmates that I thought were my friends. Since then, a few have apologized and one even became a Christian.
I have forgiven the people who used to make fun of me. It has taken me a long time to accept myself as Jesus sees me but now that I have. I have so much more peace. I even teach sign language on youtube, I keep living my life and keep showing people that just because someone can't hear, walks funny, talks funny or doesn't talk at all, doesn't have limbs doesn't mean they are any less of a person created by God who has a purpose for their lives even if they do not see it or own up to it. I pray this review has touched your hearts.

In this book, it touches my heart that Aaron is seeking amends with those he has hurt. That is a huge feat because most bullies just go on their ways and never learn that they have hurt people. Mercy is a strong woman I can tell just by the way she handles herself. I also can tell that she has been hurt by Aaron. I can't wait to read more about this book. See how their relationship unfolds. I have to admit this book is MY FAVORITE so far out of the whole Teaville Moral Society Series. As always when I was reading...I was able to come up with who I could see playing Aaron and Mercy at least.
I would give this book a 5 out of 5 stars just because it is so well written. It touches on matters of the heart and what is really going on in a bullies head as well as the victims of the bullying. I highly recommend people check out Melissa Jagears and her Teaville Series. You WON'T BE SORRY.
